Everything in this picture is either worn out, wonky or on its way out (the grapes). Ok the cherries are still good ......

Yet another valuable antique - sorry piece of junk - added to my collection today - this time the trumpet - a very knackered Antoine Courtois which is in two bits, missing bits, very very worn out and cost me a whole 3 - that'll do me nicely.

I'm not entirely sure what I'll do with it but it's mine and that's all that matters.......

Typically you Al.
I actually think that that knackered 'Trumpet' is some kind of knackered 'French Horn.'
That's not really important but it might make a difference to a future image title.
And it's still only worth three quid.

Thanks folks - I could do better but not today Smile

Thanks for the correction Bren - I know next to nothing - well nothing - about horns/trumpets etc - except a vague idea of which is which - and not a very accurate idea at that Smile I don't think this one would even be worth 50p for scrap but I'm happy with it Smile

Well having had a bit of a look online I'm happy to settle for trumpet or cornet - the difference between two is mostly down to size, bore and sound - and I'm certainly not going to worry too much about it Smile

It actually looks better in this pic than it does in real life !

Very good, smoke coming from the candle would have been the icing in the cake
