What a lovely and unusual little church - I absolutely adore it A great photo !
Very special and beautiful!
Where was it taken?
This wooden church is in north eastern Slovakia in National park Poloniny which belongs to the Eastern Carpathians.Church was built without any nails in 1772..
Wow! This is a very special image. I know its in Slovakia but could easily be near Lillooet or Pavillion B.C. There is a little white church all alone at Fort Douglas at the top of Harrison Lake. The road goes up the west side of Harrison Lake and goes left at Fort Douglas over to
Pemberton. You could go in Squamish, Whistler Pemberton way from the North shore. Quite an adventure. I hope the logging bridge at Ft. Douglas to Harrison Lake has been improved.
It was mostly railway timbers with plenty of gaps to fall through. Be careful. TG
