Good Day to you all at ePz

Thank you all so very much for all the wonderful comments, messages and votes following my upload yesterday.

Todays shadowily image shows part of Worthings' Pier a frequent stop for for light refreshments and good food.

I hope that you all have a great day, for me Julie, Katie and Christopher are coming down for an early Fathers Day, so I am sure we well get out and about and may even have a spot of lunch somewhere nice.

Regards as always NathanGrinGrinGrin

A well composed image with lovely vertical verticals, Nathan!
I really like both versions but, V1 in mono wins the day(albeit a bit early!!) for me!
I'm slowly becoming a fan of b/w!!

Richard

It has to win my approval for this alone!

Seriously, A nicely composed image with good depth. I would prefer much more contrast in the B&W version (I tried it and it worked for me) and in the colour version the colour of the sea and sky look over saturated to me and tend to dominate the image.

Colour, by a mile, Nathan, that's a photographer's ideal blue sky, perfectly broken up.

V1 for the lines and the shadows. It's a very satisfying composition, using portrait as it works best, leading the eye from an interesting foreground to a satisfying horizon. That happens better for me in b&w. But both versions look underexposed, I want to add more brightness. In V1 the clouds, waves and white paintwork look drab and dingy, I want to bring them to life.
