I was really impressed by the modification and critique of my photo last week that I wondered if someone would like to have a go at this one. I have not edited it at all but think there must be ways of making it a better picture, just can't quite decide what would be best. I would be really grateful for any advice or suggestions.

Frank's mod is very nice. Your shot has the makings of an excellent pic. It just needs a bit of tweaking. There's some nice light in the pic illuminating the foliage here and there. The light on the girl's hands is nice too. But she is just a tiny bit in the shade so Frank's brightening has given the shot that extra sparkle. Plus the crop helps to focus on the main part of the shot.

Best wishes

Catherine

Thank you for your kind comments and suggestions. It is helpful to me to get as much feedback as possible and this is helping me to make improvements and learn. At present I am getting a little frustrated using Photoshop because I know what it can do but can't quite work out how to do it - I think I will need to enrol on a course or borrow a book from the library to improve my skills.
