A very good up and under shot as it were, the detail excellent as is the pose glance away from camera.......hope you got it's best side, Sylvia: I rather like the little claw up in the air instead of grasping......reminds me of an old aunt who always held her little finger like this when supping her tea from her bone china teacup.
Ronnie.

Aw, how pretty. So difficult to capture these little birds as they're so quick.

A lovely sharp capture. Especially considering how skittish they are and how tiny too. Nice catchlight too.

Etymology: the genus name (Greek troglodytai, from trogle, "a hole" (properly "a hole formed by gnawing" and dyein, "to enter") refers to the tendency of these wrens to enter small crevices and similar areas as they look for food.
Hopefully that answers that.
Very well exposed against the sky and very well detailed plumage and eye Sylvia.
Great capture
Richard

Sylvia you made a comment on my image yesterday that you are rubbish at landscapes, well you can teach me a few things on taking birds that's for sure.
