A male Common hawker (Aeshna juncea Linnaeus). I use manual focus for my in-flight shots of dragonflies because the AF will hunt if it looses lock. It's often a case of luck to get them sharp
What amazing capture,very well taken.
Cracking shot! Absolutely stunning!
Fantastic shot this! Well done. I have tried to do the same but without much success.
Well executed shot Vic. Reminds me of the x-wing fighters from star wars!
Brilliant shot, very well captured.
Well done,not easy to do
I agree, not easy to do. Well done.
SO ENVIOUS! i tried for ages to get a flight shot. well done for your perseverance
Great head on shot, fab detail, lighting and super b/g, Very very well done.
Hi Vic..Super capture with the wings ina true X...Have you tried a reasonably long zoom lense with ai servo set to centre point only?
Juggle the zoom ring with the ai and it can sometimes be easier than manual focus only...sometimes!!
