Yazoo in Concert!

Taken Saturday 7 June at the Apollo in Manchester. Yes Yazoo are back together and on tour (Europe, UK the the USA). If someone had told me that Yazoo were going to reform and I would being going to see them in concert I would never have believed them.

They opened up the show with "Nobody's Diary", (check it out on "You Tube" if you haven't got it as it's probably one of the best singles of the 80's and still sounds amazing today.)

I was in seat BB1 which meant I was 28 rows from the front so I had to concentrate on the lighting effects and forget any chance of getting a close up of the band.

It was the first time I'd used my Nikon Coolpix3100 (bought that day!!!) as The Apollo in Manchester don't like people using SLRs!

By the way they are performing "Sweet Thing" so they are giant sweets on the screens behind them!
