Cliff, V1 is astoundingly beautiful and V2 is stunningly beautiful.
The shade of green of V3's background is too close to the green of the stem.
Otherwise, it would've been strikingly beautiful. Smile

I'd prefer a little border round V1 to separate from black outer border.
V2 is so different with those cyan blues and I must admit I really like it.
I also like V3 with all the greens and yellows and I do like the top of the flower in the frame.
Well done for all these experiments - it's very therapeutic.

V1... Normally I wouldn't go for the colour, and green isn't my favourite colour - but even the bug matches.

Three very good variations on a theme, Cliff
V3 really needs a more toned-down bg, I feel. It is competing with the subject, however I do like the processing.
V1 would perhaps have benefited from having the top included at the expense of the lower flower? And as Kate says, a white 2 pixel border would have halped.
V2 is gorgeous, beautiful hues and my favourite.
