Just after taking Purple Beauty I was looking around the garden and found this tiny Yellow Poppy. It was hiding in a very Dark place at the base of a conifer........to get anything it was shot @ F 22 with mirror lock up and a timer, can't remember the speed...but it was slow!!
Had to hold a card at the side to try and hold back the breeze.

No crop on this...I had the Sigma 105 quite close.

SORRY I SAW THE COMMENT FROM GRAHAM P AND LOOKED AT THE B/G AND COULD SEE ALL "BLOTCHES" IN IT SO SMOOTHED THEM OUT AND DARKENED IT A BIT.SO THIS IS THE 2nd ATTEMPT Thanks to Graham P and Helenlinda for voting.

Simple but a delight. You have caught so much detail and the colour is so clear. V2 really jumps off the screen.

What a super capture, love it Smile Think I prefer the 'softer' V1, but both versions are excellent Wink
