Having climbed down to the foot of the waterfall and then back up, dried my filters and almost given up, the rain subsided and gave me the opportunity to capture Stob Dearg with the river Coupall providing plenty of action following the heavy rain. I got plenty of this magical setting over the four days of my visit but will upload an alternative of the same scene with this one to avoid boredom. Many thanks for your overwhelming response to 'That castle ..' and 'Just Passing Through'. Really appreciate it.
Alun

When I go I shall capture this as too, but nowhere near this well, I fear. Beautifully done, Alun.

V1 for me Alun. The dramatic sky is the perfect foil to the waterfall. Wonderful clarity and detail.

Many thanks. The denser cloud cover in the first shot gave more difused light , ideal for capturing the falls. Mind you I did like the light on Stob Dearg in v2.
Big thanks to NaturesHaven for the GEA Smile
