I'd name it Steve...

I know what you mean, Mario. I think it's very difficult to name a photograph. Anyway, whatever it is called I like this photograph.

Really like this type of texture shot but it needs a bit of power - see mod. Not sure if you applied sharpening but if so I think it is a bit overdone - possibly to try and overcome that fact that it is not critically sharp? If not it might be my monitor or probably more accurately my eyes Wink Steve.

Hi Mario,

I like what you'er trying to achieve here but it's very flat and does need a bit of a lift.
I've uploaded a mod. in which I've increased the vibrancy, by quite a lot and the contrast, by not a lot.
I tried a few adjustments using levels and the shadows/highlights tool but with no real sign of improvement.
Sorry not to have been more helpful.

Bren.

I love the composition and subject here but it is rather under exposed and lacking in contrast. I have therefore offered a mod in an effort to correct these issues. I feel this would be better taken with some strong light from the side to really bring out the textures.
One other small point: if you do feel the need to display your logo it ought to be more subtle as it is too bright and distracting at present. In the mod I toned it down somewhat to give you an idea.
I hope this helps in some way.
Phil
