Good Morning epzers....put out a fat feeder and you can guarantee the starlings will find....The younger ones are less inhibited and will allow me to get reasonably close if I sit still Smile

Shooting from inside to out caused the iso to climb up to 1600 but I don't think they're too noisy?

Todaycast: There's a mist over the sea and it's a warm start...barometer's rising

Lovely plumage in this under-rated bird, well caught in this image.

The barometer fell here this morning, but I'll try and get another one on Amazon.

A super and detailed collection here, Jeff Smile As for noise, when I went the the Yorkshire Photographic Union Exhibition back in May, they had a professional photographer showing projected digital images of his work, a lot of which was wildlife, and his philosophy was to get the shot in focus, and sod any noise! I have to agree, we can live with noise in an image, but if it's out of focus where it should be in focus, then the shot's totally ruined Wink

You lead with the best of a very good set, Jeff.
Noise is noise and always will be. Most attempts to do something with it give obvious false results, and are very seldom better than letting the noise be there.

Nice set Jeff. Extremely colourful. I reduced noise in a mod on V1, with a few other tweaks just to show the difference. I think its worth addressing noise in the rest, theyre good, and the noise to me is quite visible.

regards

Willie
