Heard all the other names but never Red Deer Lillian, good useful info.
Nicely in close and personal and good eye contact, but as you say shame about the harsh light which washes out underneath the mouth and takes some of the eye detail away. I bet somebody could work on this to remove the glare

I love all your big cat pics and this is no exception. I knew they were known as cougars, puma and mountain lions but I have never heard the other names before

Wonder why on earth it is sometimes called a Red Deer. Just glad the Scottish Red Deer aren't actually Cougars/Pumas!!! Love the title. Good eye contact and some nice textures in that coat.

What a lovely face this puma has, and so well captured in this delightful shot. Half these alternative names are new to me too, Lillian. When I see images like this I realise I must stir myself and try to broaden the subjects I go for.
Ronnie.

She's a real stunner, those eyes are captivating.
Also known as mountain cat, mountain screamer and painter, but it has over 40 different names in English alone, holding the Guiness record for the animal with the highest number of names.
