Taken a couple of weeks ago on a rushed visit to see the falls. Not exactly my best ever photo outing.Firstly it was a lot further away than I thought, secondly the nearest waterfall was miles from the car park and thirdly I had foolishly arranged to pick my missus and a load of shopping up from Pontypool.Rushed over there, rushed all the way back and hardly any half decent photos taken.Still she did get me some lager.Smile

The shadows falling across the branches add so much depth and texture. Attractive shot.

Great shot even from a rushed visit, if you don't know the area pm me and I'll give you some directions to get to Sgwd Yr Eira, possibly one of the best falls in the area. Not necessarily for the faint hearted mind but can be worth it.

nice shot, best place to park for going to Scwd yr Eira ( the fall you walk behind) is to park by the lamb public house in penderyn ( thats the way I go but they only few miles from me)- nice walk, but one section is steps which are quite steep, or go to glynneath park by the angel and follow the trail up river to see a lot of falls lol - allow a full day for it though lol

Nice shot Roly....you should give yourself a good 5/6 hours over there me reckons - its a wonderful place to visit. I normally walk from the car Park at Porth Ogof down the lovely stretch of river and head for Scwd yr Eira 1st then come back and take a few of the others in on my way back/ There are a few near the Pontneddfechan end I haven't seen - must rectify that soon.

Nice shot though.
It's best to go there in the Spring and Summer, when it's hopefully less muddy, as you have probably found out. You can get some spectacular shots then.
