Zanna, which is short for Rozanna, works with my wife at Starbucks in Old Town Pasadena. My wife is a coffee gourmet, and working at Starbucks is like Disneyland for her. She also loves the young people who have adopted her as their den mother. The call her "Pamster" or "Pammy," or "Pamcake." The new barristas, or "Green Beans," listen to her on all subjects coffee. Zanna loves my portfolio of fashion, especially the Piictures of my favorite model and dear friend Suzanne Copeland. Yesterday, the sun went behind a small cloud and suddenly I had a light that looked like a lot of studio fashion lighting techniques I use. Zanna saw us on the street and came up to chat, and with in a minute I was shooting fashion heads. I think she has a lot of potential. This was also a great chance to try out my new copy of Portrait Professional 9, which I downloaded from England last week.

There's a guy at my club, a pro photographer, who swears by Portrait Pro. Says it makes cleaning up portrait a doddle/breeze. And he's no computer nerd, believe me. I tried to teach him layers, & he just didn't get it.
A lovely portrait of a lovely lady. Sometimes we togs are blessed with luck. The light is fabulous.
A kind charming face, a lovely portrait, and all the better for not being in a studio
I can almost smell the coffee.
