Morning everyone !
Many thanks for your comments and clicks on yesterdays' ZAPCAT image, very much appreciated.
Here is a sequence of three crash shots - thankfully nobody was hurt in this one ! It tickled me when I saw the words ' HELP ' on the bottom !
BEST LARGE IF YOU HAVE TIME !
Chris

The build up to V3 is certainly a worthy approach but the Finale is superb action
Rick
Awesome action...
I guess the help under makes sort of sense
Oooops! Glad no one was hurt, water can be hard at that speed. Superb set of action images.

What a brilliant set, Chris, capturing what looks as if it could have been a rather nasty situation so well. I'd be no use at this sort of thing and can only admire those, like yourself, you can capture a moment such as this in such detail. I note the occupants of the second craft are looking back and not where they are headed.
Ronnie.

Fantastic sequence Chris, some of the best action shots i've seen in a while.
V1-V3 all great shots.
Very well captured.
Regards Ricky.
Would you class photography as a dangerous sport? No - then I am relieved because I'll stick with it. These three images, however, make me cringe. Wonderfully sharp and full of action, marvellous.
Help is the right word.

3 excellent action shots Chris, wonderful timing,
Geoff.
Wonderful photography Chris. This deserves to be recognised. Great action photography that is crystal sharp. Not easy at the focal length you must have had to use. Stunning.

Thanks Dave - As you know I love all types of photography, but especially anything fast moving.
Sunday could'nt have been a more enjoyable day - lots of sunshine. trousers rolled up over the knees, stood in the sea all day with my favourite 100-400 with a X2, and great action to photograph .... sheer bliss. (Although my arms have ached a bit since after holding that weight all day) but well worth it ! Looking forward to the next race !
I only caught this crash out of the corner of my eye, and just turned and shot - was delighted when I got home to find I had caught eight consecutive shots from begining to end. So a good day !
Thanks again Dave
Chris
