Day 218: Spokes

Day 193: The Captainís seat

discreetphoton Ted seemed to be looking out of the window this evening. I loved the way the light seemed to wrap around him. There wasnít much of it, so I turned off the VC and stuck the camera on a tripod. Nikon D300; Tamron 18-270mm PZD @ 38mm; ISO 200; F/10; 8 seconds. VC off.

Day 185: Crab Spider

discreetphoton This little fellow (and he was small, as youíll see if you skip forward a bit) was trucking across the floor of my home today. I relocated him to the sink to see just how close I could get, sticking a +3 dioptre on to the front of the lens, and using a flashgun to negate the daft exposure time...
