Nikon DSLR for life!

AliceLuisePhotographyI actually love my dlsr , there is so much you can do then with rather than with ordinary compacts and the stupid auto focus. Episode 16

xandaMy reasons for abandoning Pentax amounted to more than a simple focussing issue. Nikon D3x

MattGraysonI guess you're all excited to learn about the new Nikon guv'nor DSLR although I don't think it was much of a surprise to many of you. Well, this one belongs to Nikon and they're going to want it back soon. :( My comments about the crop factor are still, IMHO, valid for my kind of photography, but the fact that I can use this one in the dark, literally, ...

Nikon D700

IanAA couple of years ago AP published a 'discussion' between myself and Damen DeMoulder who was then the Tech Editor. His side was taken by full frame, whilst I was defending the cropped sensor. Now yesterday I met him again (He's now the Editor of AP) at the London launch of the Nikon D700, a full...

Meeting My Waterloo !

GeoffphotoDid you know that yesterday (18th June) was the anniversary of Waterloo ? No, not Abba winning the Eurovision song contest, or the opening of the grotty railway station, but the famous battle in 1815 when Sharpe and the lads gave the French a good kicking (er.......that's not strictly true :) ) ! ...
