A day off today and rather than stay in and vegetate I took a trian ride to Hastings, primarily to take a look around the old junk shops but also a trip to the beach where they have all the fishing vessels. I settled on this one for today's pic. Bigger pic here

I went shopping this morning and came home to find this bug waiting for me. It was about two foot long and I had to stand well back for fear of being eaten alive. I eventually coaxed it outside with next doors cat :D Bigger Bug

On the River Adur this morning, I wondered whether it would still float and on my return journey, when the tide had come right in, I was surprised to find that it stll did. I wouldn't go fishing in it though :P Bigger boat
