Baked Beans Window Art

AngelaSeager Did a double take when I walked past this convenience store shop window and saw shelves of tinned baked beans, kidney beans, and chick peas individually hand-painted onto the window....wow...

More from Bruges

conradLooking at chocolatiers' windows is a lot safer in the evenings, when they're closed. And Bruges has quite a few chocolatiers, as I found out last week when I spent an evening there. The old town centre is very nice, with lots of historic buildings, but some of those buildings house attractive sh...

Project 365-125

CaptivePhotonsWhat a day; high winds and torrential rain. I normally like to get out of the office for 20-30 minutes and go for a walk. Not today! Here's a picture from my window, taken with the iphone 4 and Hipstamatic. Bigger view in the group.

83 - 365

bfgstewDistortion. Took this through my back door window, not exactly how I wanted it, but I still liked the outcome. It was supposed to be sharp on the pattern of the glass, but somehow it become distorted , but as I said, I liked the outcome, a mixture of colour, pattern and distortion.

bfgstewRain stopped play.................. Says it all really!!!! Sat in the car and just couldn't think of anything to photograph, well it was raining and dull so not really inspiring weather. Decided to photograph the rain on the window, I quite like this all things considered.

PeteA view through the distorted window glass. I've been busy all day decorating so no time for photos. One of the problems with this photo365 daily photo project. So it's a quick snap on the iPhone.

Photo365 - 204 - shadowman

PeteA self portrait of sorts. I was in a room and noticed a reflection from a mirror hitting the wall and creating a rainbow shaped letter H. I took a few pics of that and spotted that the actual window light was also strong and part of my shadow was in the frame so I repositioned myself and balanced th...

Photo365 - 139 - No Parking

PeteI went over to Sheffield today to do some work with the Tamron 18-270mm lens. While I was out I spotted this interesting arrangement. Nothing was moved, all as found. The shot is part of my photo365 project where I take a photo each day for 365 days. So far so good!

PeteI was trying different lens combinations on a Nikon D700. I was using an unusual adaptor that used to be made by BPM that allows a male and female mount to be attached back to back. With the adaptor and suitable mounts you can attach any lens to any body. I tried enlarging lenses using a Leica 39mm ...

PeteA shot taken today in a local cafe using a Fuji compact.

Photo365 - 46 - Window

PeteIt's been raining all day and making those small pattering sounds on the window. So here's my window looking out. Focus is on the reflections of the background tree in the drops. A wide aperture was used to make the tree branches totally out of focus and abstract in look.
