Barcelona

Barcelona is one of the most exciting cities in Europe, and a photographer's paradise. The place simply exudes atmosphere, and nowhere more so than in La Rambla - the city's most famous street, where you can sit and have a drink while you are entertained by the numerous street performers and artists.

Absolute musts to see are Casa Mila - the house designed by Antonio Gaudi, Sagrada Familia - the great cathedral which will not be completed for at least another 50 years, and Parc Guell - a quite surreal experience with strangely-shaped buildings and colourful mosaics everywhere.

Amongst other attractions are Barcelona Zoo which is worth at least a half day's visit, the Olympic Stadium, Mont Juic, and the home ground of Barcelona's football club.
