The Black Country Living Museum is an open-air industrial archeological/cultural museum in Dudley which has buildings, coal mine, industrial processes, 19c town High Street and shops, as well as buses, trams, cars, canal boats from 19/20c.

Very good for photographers as there is a lot of 'wasteland' which you can roam through with plenty of decaying artefacts. Has a cafe and shop.

How to get there
The Museum is situated on the A4037, the Tipton Road (DY1 4SQ), only 3 miles from junction 2 of the M5 Motorway via A4123 and 6 miles from junction 10 of the M6, the Museum is easily accessible from the Midlands motorway network.

The Museum is signposted from Junction 2 of the M5 and is about 1 mile north of Dudley Town centre
