Rhue Point, is few miles heading north from Ullapool on a small single track road. Its posted on the road and is a dead end road with a small parking area.
Once you are at the parking area, its about a 5-10 min walk to the lighthouse area and probably best with hiking/walking boots if wet.
The area has some great sunsets over the Summer Isles during the summer months right into the start of winter but eventually the sun sets to the left over the hills.
If your quite seals bask on the rocks but can be easily disturbed and move off.
I would take a good wide lens with you for this one and enjoy the light, fishing from the rocks is not bad either Though a longer lens will let you play with shots of the isles or fishing boats in the bay coming into Ullapool.
