The Wave - Utah, USA

The Wave (Coyote Butte) A rare and amazing place that requires a special permit and a 2-1/2 mile hike to get to.

The morphing and changing light gave the rocks a sense of almost being alive. Early light set the rocks aglow with deep colors, a polarizer transformed the harsh brilliant noon light into an indigo sky and the long shadows of late afternoon gave the ridges expression.
