Adrian Crook professional photographer, I am at heart a fashion photographer, based in Preston. I have owned my own studio in Preston for nearly 3 years now and just expanded and got more studio space.

I started back in the days of 110 film and then quickly went on to get my first 35mm film camera. I took a course at uni that involved photography and loved it. I then went on to work in London as a photographer after a while circumstances changed and I put my camera down and never picked it up again for 15 years.

I then got myself a Canon 300D to play around with and the passion came flooding back. I now shoot mainlly with a Canon 5D but when the mood takes the Bronica 120 film camera comes out and we play.

Since then I have have gone on to, portfolio work, advertising and magazines. The latest of which is a 6 page spread in a High Fashion Magazine (out June)
One thing I never thought I would do is teach photography but was asked so much I now run courses on studio lighting. It is fantastic that I can pass on what I know to others.

I do feel lucky doing what I do and wouldn't change it for the world.
