United KingdomI became a Freelance Photographer this last September after I graduated in Physics. I was fortunate to have my first exhibition in London during October and am currently searching for future galleries in which to exhibit. The area I intend to specialise in is cityscapes, having extensively photographed London, although I am currently building up a portfolio of Yorkshire landscapes. Digital photography has given me a chance to experiment with different styles and I currently use a Canon EOS 10D, although I hope to upgrade soon.
Friends and family encouraged me to become a photographer especially as it is my passion. I am self-taught and embraced digital as soon as possible - enjoying the post-capture processing as much as the taking of the photo.
I have only had a couple of commissions so far whilst I build up my name. My first commission was the Gherkin building, which I have continued to photograph so I can capture it in many different conditions. I enjoy finding reflections wherever I can - glass and water (rivers and puddles).
I hope to be published further and sell prints to a wider audience. Ultimately, after having more exposure in exhibitions and building up a large portfolio, I would like to open my own gallery shop so I can engage more with the public.
