My name is David Clapp, a guitar teacher and professional photographer based in South Devon in England. Besides teaching the kids to rock and running a bellydance clothing business (don't ask!) I am often found in disgusting weather perched on clifftops of Devon and Cornwall photographing all that nature can throw at me in pusuit of of a larger professional portfolio.

The advent of Easyjet has quenched my urge to travel, widening my perceptions to architecture and the guilt of not using my macro lens I bought in Hong Kong last year as had me spending many months in rehab as a self confessed macroholic. A personal project to photograph orchids has gone beyond complete obsession into neurotic addiction containing some twenty five species in four weeks.

I am a landscapes moderator at Naturescapes.Net and I sell my work at two agencies in the UK and various calender companies as well as a recent flurry of magazines submissions.

Somewhere in among all this I find time to love my wife-to-be dearly who often laughs at me as I stagger around the countryside carrying far to much stuff.
