Paul's main focus is on landscape photography but admits that the most fun he has ever had with a camera is on African safaris. "Most successful photographs result from the enjoyment that the photographer gains from their subject matter. For me, seeing a transient moment of unique lighting in a beautiful place or the beauty or character of wild animals lifts my soul. If that can be expressed in my photography then I will feel at least partially successful".
