United KingdomI have been a photographer in a professional capacity since about 1998, originally re-trading in the army from the Royal Green Jackets. I spent several years teaching surveillance photography to special forces and then worked at the HQ London District as a PR photographer. My last job before leaving the army in 2002 was photographing the Queen, Prince Philip and The Duke of York at a private party in Windsor.
I left the Army to start my own photography business and opened my first studio in Cornwall in 2003, very quickly I gained a reputation for high quality work through my wedding and landscape photography, which in turn gave me connections in commercial and fashion. My work became in high demand and I had to make a decision to stop the weddings in favour of the commercial work.
I have built on the reputation and my work has become more centered around the music and fashion industries, still based in Cornwall and onto my third studio I work regularly in Brighton and London.
Over the last 8 years I have taught, advised, trained and mentored many photographers both amateur and professional. I have spoken to businesses, individuals, clubs and associations. In the last year I have started running courses and workshops in all areas of photography under Studio20e.com
