A graduate of the University of Exeter, a career in the media led to a role with Getty Images, and subsequently allowed me to develop my interest and skills in visual media with a specific tilt towards photography.

Previously artistic execution was through commissioned textural and abstract painting, with heavy emphasis on non-conventional materials, a colourful aesthetic and off centre examination of subject matter. Linear detail, contrasts, and strong colour all featured heavily in my work and these are clearly displayed in my photography.

During my time with Getty, and latterly with Alamy Images, I have been able to work extensively with many leading photographers and photographic agencies, many of whom have been instrumental in helping me develop my skills and pursue my own style.

Previously shooting in film , I am now a strong advocate of the benefits of the digital SLR and its flexibility in producing work of the highest standards without the frustrating processes involved in developing.

I have work published in a number of books by leading publishers such as DK and Pearson, and have undertaken commissions by the Victoria and Albert Museum, for V&A Images, and I am represented by Alamy, in addition to producing commissioned work for a number of prominent sculptors and artists and portrait work for actors.
