Thanks for all of that info'. It was really good of you to go into such detail. I hate it when things like this happen. I think I understand, then I misunderstand one little thing that makes be think I have misunderstood everything. Your post has clarified matters, however, and so I think I am back on track again. The following is a quote from another site to the same question... However lets say that you have indeed lost it, you can obtain a new one by calling the customer service, btu in ordr to get a new one, you have to send in proof of purchase, scan o...

On your first point LF, I come from both, so perhaps that kind of explains it. On your second, I think that you're right. ...yep. Just checked it. No problem. With image open in Develop module of LR4 Click on "Edit in Photoshop CS5" Click on "Edit with Lightroom Adjustments" Click on "Render in Lightroom" CS5 opens with image DSC_0008-Edit.tif which has all the adjustments I made to DCS_0008.NEF in LR4 .

Sorted??? I've uninstalled LR 3 and tested LR 4 which now appears to behaving itself with dual monitors and CS5 also running. Won't declare victory just yet but it's looking good. Thanks for the help.
