Fujifilm FinePix S1 Pro
Fuji were the first to crack the entry level SLR market with the S1 pro, and as an added bonus they included a CCD that claims over six million pixels. The truth is the real pixel count is 3.4 million but a clever interpolation method and a honeycomb patter CCD help deliver the extras. The camera is based on the Nikon F60 an amateur model that has plenty of features, so most Nikon lenses can be used. Of the SLR digitals it's the slowest motor drive at 1.5fps, so it isn't the ideal choice for fashion or action but is fine for landscape, weddings and portraiture.

Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro
Was named 'European Advanced Camera of the Year 2007-2008' by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA). Their official comment was "The special qualities of Fujifilm's Super CCD SR Pro sensor provide the wide dynamic range, low image noise and contrast control that make the camera stand out from the general DSLR market. Fujifilm has used a rugged body, faster processing, more flexible shooting methods, improved autofocus and advanced flash metering modes. Ultimately, though, it is the S5 Pro's ability to reproduce a massive range of tones that makes it the winner of this category."

Fujifilm FinePix 2400Z
Same styling as the 1400 Zoom but with a more useful 2.1 million pixel array. Otherwise, with the exception of a tad more speed 1/1000sec instead of 1/750sec and a champagne gold colour it's more or less the same camera. The £80 price premium is well spent if photo quality is important.

Fujifilm FinePix 4700 Z
An unusual upright style that looks futuristic but can be troublesome to hold. The features are selected using a stylish circular array of illuminating buttons. The pop up flash is close to the lens so red-eye is prevalent but the lens is sharp and the LCD is fairly easy to see in daylight. Having the Super CCD gives it the edge on pixels created but other cameras with a million less pixels have been found to produce similar quality results.

Fujifilm FinePix 4900Z
Fuji say in their brochures that this camera is a real breakthrough in Digital Photography, and while you often takes these claims with a pinch of salt, this one is worth taking onboard. The style is like an Olympus iS camera offering the comfort of an SLR, but the viewfinder is electronic. This offers everything that the larger 2in monitor offers but isn't a big drain on batteries. While already feature-packed it has a filter thread and hot-shoe to add even more features. Well worth a look.

Fujifilm FinePix 40i
Fuji excited the technology world with this compact model that houses a camera, MP3 player and moving image recorder. All three features are stored on SmartMedia and can be played back using the camera's LCD viewfinder, PC and TV connectors or audio output. The lens is fixed, but the quality is good enough to crop so you can use this as a digital magnifier. If you intend downloading MP3 music it's a good package, but if you are just looking for a great camera look elsewhere.

Fujifilm FinePix 6800 Z
Fuji, Like Contax before, have gone to the stylish designers F A Porsche to ensure this camera looks the part. It follows the upright style first seen on the MX700 and houses a useful range of modes to help you get great pictures. The 3 million pixel Super CCD delivers images of 6 million pixels which are good enough to blow up to 10x8in at the highest quality. Another neat feature is the cradle that hold the camera when pictures are being downloaded. All connections are made through the cradle so you don't have to worry about getting images into the computer.

Fujifilm FinePix 1300
Smooth, curvaceously designed facia and silver colouring give this budget model a space age look . The back panel has the LCD and various controls and a simple mode dial. Specification is a little limited and there's just a fixed lens, but you can't expect much more currently. It's fine for Web use and producing small prints, but try and pull out an enlargement and you'll start to see the pixels.

Fujifilm FinePix 1400 Z
A slightly smaller LCD monitor and 1.3 million pixel CCD are two reasons why Fuji are able to keep this 3x zoom model competitively priced. The conventional camera shape is easy to use and the USB and SmartMedia options mean you can download pictures easily to a PC or connect to Fuji's NX-500 printer and output stunning photo-real pictures. A small point but the sliding cover is easy to push when taking a picture which can result in the lens retracting.

I , also, tried the X100 at Focus 2011 and loved it. I didn't find too many problems and will (when mine turns up in 2 weeks) use it mainly for street photography. Yes, it isn't perfect but then which camera nowadays is? I was happy enough with what I saw at F'11 that I have been willing to spend the money on it, and for me to spend that much money on anything but a new group of medals or a re...

Oops! That was an unfortunate typo - I'll fix it now, thanks. The HS20 has a new EXR sensor so it may have improved IQ. The ones on display were pre-production unfortunately so sample images were not available, or if they were, they wouldn't be indicative of final image quality.

? STOLEN FUJIFILM FinePix F200EXR
I have been to the police with a friend taking with me all the evidence. I had to make a statement, this was on Thursday and they are going to get back to me after speaking to my 'friend' You must have a very conscientious local police force. I would have expected them to tell you they didn't have the resources to investigate, give you a Crime Number & tell you to claim on your insurance.
