Top 5 things you would change on ePHOTOzine
I would say have the PM system on the site split into two parts. One part and notification for PMs between members of the site and the other part (and separate notification) for PMs from the EPZ team (ie the adverts). I say this because for people who don't get a lot of PMs on a regular basis the majority of notifications pertain to adverts from EPZ (I'm not complaining about that) which mea...

New Photo Award System
Okay, I think this has run its course now, so I'm locking it. For those who still have 'problems' with the system, I suggest you contact the team rather than creating another thread and going round and round in circles. Thanks.

Wedding Setup
Thanks James, yeah I would do it again, I would like to do it again sooner rather than later too, so that I can put into practice all that I have learnt while it is still fresh. As a lot of people have said, not much compares to the stress that you go through on the day, but once it all settles down, it is actually quite fun. ;)

What type of work is allowed on this site?
...it is rude to attack people so why do you? you say: post an opinion by all means why should we if we get attacked for it? ..why comment if you do not like it? Like the pose on this and the lighting; arm maybe obscures the face a bit too much for me. Like the shot though. John seems to me john did like, it, and had an opion on how to make it better, yet you sti...

RANT: Links
I did a quick link tutorial, then Doug did his video, but in thread after thread you see people post a www address with an apology "Sorry I can't do links". Pop up blockers on not, it's pretty easy to type them in manually. I think vBulletin parses typed in links to real links but also truncates them. Take that a step further and if anybody types or pastes something beginning with http://...

Bye
My first reaction to the new layout was 'what the heck....??'. But having got my few remaining grey cells around the new navigation routes (well almost), I am beginning to like the new layout. I'm not too sure about the full screen width text - it's harder to read -, but generally the site has a nice clean open appearance. Nice work Chaps & Chapesses. PS. perhaps I should do somethi...

I've just bought an INT103 Cool-Light from Interfit. I'll be trying it out with flowers this week, but the wine and grapes shots in my pf were lit with it. It's brilliant because it's daylight balanced. The maplin box with halogen lights works really well, but if you have daylight in the room as well, you'll end up with a blue cast on the flowers and stems. To correct this, I use a fliter to...

You will be in your element at weddings if you are someone who is gregarious and really enjoys and loves people;if you can be a bit of an entertainer and get on with people not on a 1:1 ratio but up to 1:300 and really know your onions technically and prepared to do all those things necessary to be a success in wedding photography you cannot but succeed ! However some photographers are intro...

The click debate - hopefully the final one!
As long as I get to interact with all of the very good photographers and enthusiasts on EPZ, I'm happy. I've learned so much in the past 6 months that I can't believe it. I know instantly whether people like my photos and why. And I get to see other photos in a clean and organized way and make comments. And I learn just as much by making comments as by receiving them. I get all the inform...
