Book Reviews
This is a portfolio book showing the work of Nature photographer, Workshop instructor and Lecturer. It's a smaller 8.5in square format with one photo per spread and an extended caption for each image. The repro is good and the captions informative. The photography is generally outstanding and very inspirational apart from the occasional 'creative' shot that doesn't look right in this book. Well worth a look

A National Disgrace
Positive Discrimination is another. The problem with this happens when the people who know how to work the system climb the ladder, rather than the people who its aimed at with the abilty dont. From my own experience seeing woman who grouped up in business with meetings about "Woman Into Business" and so on, did far better getting up the management chain than the people who where getting...

I dont think your camera is an issue, but the lens may be. i havnt met anyone yet who had a good word to speak about the 18-55 kit lens, isnt that the one with the plastic mount. as far as i am aware the last report i read, it came bottom of the pile. if i were you i would ditch that and look for a second hand 18-70 which is the total opposite and as good as it gets without being top dollar p...

Take the link, and you can rea...

As the OP can we please have this thread locked before the other well known ePz ' flouncer ' reappears. This thread has veered so far away from my simple enquiry I think it's time put it to rest. Note to self - never mention EC's in the forum again:) Merry Christmas.

What Book Are You Reading?
I really cant finish Brave New World, im at the reservation bit again with John's weird introduction, the bit what disinterested me in the first place. Have several books waiting in the wings, Bradshaws Guide, which was recently popularised by Michael Portillo on the bbc, and its an identical reprint of the original, even down to the binding and text layout. Beautiful by Katie Piper, the...

Brightly coloured trees, crisp cold mornings and the crunch of leaves underfoot are all signs of autumn creeping in and if you're a landscape photographer there's no better time to be outdoors capturing all of what nature has to offer.
