Does it matter what camera you use?
I don;t think it matter as long as you're comfortable enough with whatever you use that you can do it intuitively. I like this quote. "Concentrate on equipment and you'll take technically good photographs. Concentrate on seeing the light's magic colors and your images will stir the soul." I'm using this as a mental brake every time I start a new bout of EAS, equipment aquisition syndrome...

Pimp my cam
Looking at the link CB gave us it seems that a chav is anybody who gives bad vibes to people with usernames like "exterminator" - who do have intelligence, but misuse it to justify sending anybody they don't like to the gas chambers. But we're going OT again!

Clikpic vs Photobox as an outlet?
I started a Photium trial about 10 days ago. If you're not enormously web savvy and just want a reliable outlet to display your masterpieces with a minimum of arsing around, it appears ideal. I uploaded pictures at 1000 pixels and the man at the other end was extremely polite and helpful when I encountered a small obstacle. In fact my first sales should be coming through this afternoon :)

Ban it!
A blackbird did that to me once, except mine wasn't the feather exploding variety like yours was. I was on a dual carriageway doing 60 and it hit the windscreen from above! Scared the crap outta me it was so loud.

Rumours Of Full Frame DSLR
That photo of a rumoured K1 was a prototype MZ-D modelled after the MZ-S of film era. It never materiallised as the sensor back then was a Philip type sensor and was only picked by Pentax and Contax to use. Contax came out with the N Digital, I believe and that was the end of the company as the sensor was crap. The mirrorless K-01 is coming soon to all shores and in Singapore it would be s...

A word of caution whilst in London
It does not matter how security concious we might be, there are moments when we all could be easy pickings, there out there watching us, watching our body language, waiting for there chance, as you found out, it only takes a few seconds. Unfortunately most camera bags on the market scream you have something worth taking, and a lot of us are taken in by brand names and big bags with silly amo...

Amazon - Help me Lord!!!!!
If you buy from Amazon (not a merchant) and the price drops within a few days, I complain and they always offer to credit the difference I'm in full agreement with pro-Amazon users and the quote above is just one more example of the great level of customer service offered by them. I remember when my son's i-pod went faulty. It had a week's worth of warranty left so Amazon referred me to ...

'Little cameras' and 'Bokee'
1) I couldn't stand the bling 2) Gives a better grip When I got new Leki pole, some years ago, people told me it looked so nice it would get nicked. Also the metal was cold and slippery, so I wrapped it in black tape, and I've never looked back :)
