But how many times larger is 254mm X 203mm than a cropped sensor - not really realistic help for someone trying to get to grips with landscape photography. Well, I made my decision and decided to buy the new Mio P350 PDA with memory map software (and Tom Tom 5). All I need to do now is learn how to use it all!

Also, just realised that other road is the one between Buxton and Leek, not Uttoxeter. :) That road can be fantastic - I drove down there last year in the spring with low light and crisp weather. Unfortunately I had to make an appointment and did not have my camera but I really should get back there.

You could try approaching some of the agencies which specialise in landscape pohotography and are prepared to accept B/W, e.g. Arcangel Images, Arcblue, Loop Images and NHPA.

They have actually used the camera to image the landing sites of the Spirit and Opportunity rovers, and to llok for the failed British Beagle probe (don't know if they found it though).
