There is bias towards lanscape photography on this website. Well, the landscape is always there around you, be it country or urban landscape. To me, the urban landscape is the more interesting. However, both need some exploration and patience for the best result. So does street photography. jas

On the original subject, this is something we've seen in recent years at the Edinburgh Festival, and it's happened to me too. The "statues" guys are trying to make an honest (?) bob, and many object to being used as models for no return, and many don't get approached by the public if they are being stalked by a photographer. I've only ever had one guy give me the "finger wag" treatment, but ...

I think more of us women should go for martial arts training. Karate etc. This is supposed to be good for defending oneself, thats if you get the chance.
