I got lost at this stage... "Ok, so first we open up one of the images. I'll start with the background scene." Yes it's stage one.......where do I open it ? Are we all using the same p/shop etc and when I...

Raw format problems
I should have a play with an E500 next week, a friend at camera club has just upgraded from a Fuji 7000 to one. Sounds like a good improvement over the older levels displays. Now if only it took Canon lenses :)

New Feature and Competition
It's L! not I Dunno if you mean second part of first one or second one itself. If you mean this slideshow the second 'song' is Baz Lurhman's 'Sunscreen'. If you mean that slideshow then it's The Beatles 'Birthday'

Raw for thick people
Yes after reading a few times I understand and thats what I want...get the basics like WB and Exposure sorted on a screen then over to P/S to do my normal clumsy messing about. Guy Gowan would tell you that this is exactly how he does it (ok with Aperture or ACR instead of Lightroom and perhaps not the clumsy messing about!) Having said that, Lightroom does have a lot going for it too. O...

C1 LE processing advice please
This has been a really interesting post. Keith, when are you going to do that sharpening tutorial? That would be great Keith as I h...
