I started playing with PS about 3 years ago and although I've hardly accumulated any true insight into the programme I really enjoyed what I COULD do with it. From there I decided that to further my kowledge I would need images I'd made myself-SO I bought a Fuji s602z, not because I wanted to take photos -because I wanted to explore PS.Have kind of got hooked and got me an Olympus e300 and I s...

Lightroom 3, what have I done?
Does anyone know how to import DNGs into Lightroom 3? I already exported some images out of Lightroom 2 as DNGs on my old computer. Now I am trying to import them into Lightroom 3 on my new computer but they don't show up when I go to import and select the folder that they are in.

Decided t...

Advice wanted - alternative to PS
Hi again. I have now been on a beginners course for Elements, run by the biggest photo retailer here in Oslo. During the 3 hours we covered all the basics including cloning and simple layers and I now feel I have made the right choice with Elements. Fortunately, the course leader had the ability to put things in a very easy to understand manner. I have booked for the follow up course which ...

Help with post processing technique
Richard In answer to your original question I think you have two independent issues that you need to tackle. The first issue is your method of removing blemishes. When you select a colour and paint you are using the same colour for the whole area you are painting. If the adjacent areas have some subtle change of colour or lightness then the difference between your painted area and the...
