Process versus Technique
To get the pics to the level/look they need, it's a proper skill from what I can gather - stuff the agent was chatting about was mind boggling really, it'd probably not be cost effective to get me to do it as it'd take forever ;-) Don't get me wrong, I edit all the portrait/landscape/wedding stuff I do - but big projects... you're just a small cog in a wheel really. ww I'd rather be chat...

I'm finding this piece of software relatively easy to use (and there are some great tutorials - accessed via the help button)....there is also a neat little download (works for Chrome and Firefox) that allows you to immediately upload images for edit into the software. Pixlrgrabber :)

Sorry had a senior moment, been to check some negs and as you rightly said 10 per roll and as the wife j...

. . . I can foresee CS5 owners having a slight advantage here! However, in keeping with the spirit of things, I won't cheat (yet!) Here's something I prepared earlier. Much earlier actually. This was one of my first attempts at cloning a fairly large object. In this case, my daughter, Chloe! In case you're wondering (you were, weren't you?) this was taken at a ...

Advice wanted - alternative to PS
Hi again. I have now been on a beginners course for Elements, run by the biggest photo retailer here in Oslo. During the 3 hours we covered all the basics including cloning and simple layers and I now feel I have made the right choice with Elements. Fortunately, the course leader had the ability to put things in a very easy to understand manner. I have booked for the follow up course which ...
