Weather warning

Same here Jo, but in East London. Weather suddenly turned and the sky was really dark. Hail, driving wind, thunder, lightning - yeeekk! I even turned my PC off quick as anything. Wasn't til later I heard about the tornado when I dropped into the BBC site. They may not have the Christmas break they planned, but they'll know some kindness from the neighbours :-)

The main forecast (BBC TV and all internet links for Cumbria) said rain, thunder and the like, intermittently, for Thursday (yesterday) yet we went walking it was wonderful! Never got wet once at Kentmere! Jeanie
