Yum, you can't go to North Wales and not have a Cadwaladers (ice cream) there's one in Criccieth just up the road from the lifeboat station, and you can take pics of Criccieth castle on the hill as well while you eat it :), thats not too far from Abersoch. There are some lovely groynes on the beach at Pwllheli, and Portmeirion is great for architecture just up the hill out of Porthmadog, turn...

I suggest you check out the Swallow Falls which are just outside Betws y coed on the A5, I think. Pretty spectacular if there is enough water in the river

Yes it's a lovely place to live. Lots of beautiful scenery on the doorstep and some interesting industrial views at nearby Runcorn and Ellesmere Port. Hope you got some good pictures
