Are we all to be ripped off?
To play devils advocate - what is the difference between using others images without permission, and say using a hooky copy of photoshop, or Chinese flashes / triggers etc that contravine european patent laws, copying CD's, videos etc. In principle.............. none whatsoever :) Except we are not Adobe or the makers of flashes, CDs, videos etc, so we feel more strongly when it happen...

Thank you to all the members who commented on my query. Your remarks, as always are both helpful & appreciated. By the way, I missed out on the Transcend SDHC card offer from 7 dayshop. They'd all sold out, so that should say something! Also, I'd tried a non-Nikon battery in my D7000. It was a reputable make & not an internet cheapo. It went in OK, but was somewhat reluctant to come out! This ...

Watermarks
If I see a shot I like on Facebook I often look up the photographer's work, which sometimes means looking at the watermark if there's no link That's why I watermark most of mine The huge watermarks (full photo) are there on facebook shots to stop people cropping the logo off... cheeky people do it all the time ;-)

Would you ditch digital for film camera?
I have a Leica R5 and a clutch of Leica glass sat in he cupboard, and over the last 6 years (since getting my first DSLR) I have been telling myself I really should take it out again. But digital is just so damned convenient. So no, I wouldn't go back to film.

Essay help please? :)
:'( Only 4 paragraphs! I need 5, and it has to be longer to get a good grade. But this time, I set my timer and treated myself as if I were taking the real test. What is stealing? Most would agree that stealing is wrong. What, however, does one define as stealing? Within art and writing, governments grant copyrights. Copyrights usually provide regulations for others who would copy a...

Selling work
Ok Jester I admit it and I know what I am :P, however having checked I am going to change my classification! (Just kidding btw). What I saw was a few very good shots, surrounded by a collection which to my untrained eye and amateur eye are either under and over expose and a bit messy composition wise. However fair play for putting themselves out there for people to criticise and good luck for t...
