The fact that the mirror-less cameras determine focus at the sensor is "inherently better" because that's where the final image is being recorded - pretty uncontroversial...

But, there's always the window to look through as a re-assuring backup. As a passenger I wouldn't like the idea of 'no window backup'. But we are losing 'focus' again and the post is becoming 'coloured' again !! Then, maybe that's reasons to have an OVF ?

Sanity check: has anybody done something like this, or thinking along similar lines? CB even sold his 5D2 and went for M43. Indeed, I made the change. Tell me why I cannot batch process more than one RAW file at a time and use saved settings on some of the parameters? Cos you haven't found the right "button" in C1? :)

Maybe just persuading manufacturers to release the details of their respective RAW formats for developers rather than forcing them to comply to one standard RAW format is the best compromise? That would certainly be one approach, but it wouldn't provide any guarantees.
