Wear the badge
At last ePHOTOzine has an enamel badge of our logo. A simple button badge style means you can clip one of these on a jersey, jacket, t-shirt or other clothing as well as on a camera strap, camera bag or other personal item.
Wear the badge to let other photographers know you're part of ePHOTOzine when you're out and about taking photos.
The badge is just 28mm wide and 8mm deep, so it's not too intrusive, but big enough to be recognised as a logo.

What else?
You can help in a number of other ways and, to ensure we live up to our ‘free’ status, this doesn’t involve parting with cash (unless, of course, you have a large suitcase full of the stuff waiting to be delivered)!

Articles
I see ePHOTOzine as a large resource, where photographers can share information. If you’ve enjoyed reading any techniques on ePHOTOzine and can provide something similar in your own specialist area we would like to see it. We need articles on all areas of photography from darkroom to digital. In the first instance email and let me know what you would like to write about and I will consider it.

Photographic locations
We would like to develop a huge photographic map of great scenic locations in the form of a series of articles written by photographers who either live near or visit great photogenic locations. Once again if you can read about other photographers’ favourite spots and add your own it will grow so everyone will benefit.

Tests
We need product reviews of all types of photographic equipment for our expanding equipment section. If you are friendly with a local retailer and can get access to the latest gear you could develop a program with us so that you can be a long term reviewer and trial loads of the hottest camera gear – from tripods to digital cameras. Also we require long term tests of gear you own and have used for enough time to discover all the best points and flaws. Let us know what you have and would like to write about and we’ll take it from there.

News
If you hear about anything that may be relevant to other photographers let us know, preferably writing the news story which we would add to the news section and credit you at the end.

Forums
The forums are a good way of ensuring our traffic (visitors to the site) keeps coming back. Please join the forums and use them to ask questions, comment about anything with a photographic slant or answer other readers’ questions.

Newsletter
Please register to receive our monthly newsletter. We can use the newsletter to generate revenue by selling sponsorship to each issue. This means there may be one or two adverts on the newsletter but you gain access to exclusive competitions and learn about ePHOTOzine events before anyone else. Once again we don’t charge you for this it’s still all free!

Shop
We have a few retailers who advertise on our site we also have a shop section www.ephotozineshop.com partnered with warehouseexpress.com. Where possible please buy from these and mention us when you buy anything.

Gallery
When you submit pictures to your portfolio add extended captions to support the pictures and add value for other readers.
Profile
Where possible please add a photo of yourself in your profile and a few words about yourself so you are less anonymous and more part of the community that we have created.

Advertising
Advertising is the key area that provides revenue for the site if you would like to advertise your products please contact us to discuss rates. Readers please visit our advertising sponsors, click on the banner ads and check out their services.

News Groups
If you are members of other news groups please mention our reviews, our techniques and our news in them.

The more you spread the word, the bigger we become and the more content we deliver back to you. Keep it coming…, oh and those with suitcases full of cash, please meet me round the back of the third telephone box by the café on the right:-)

Submission Guidelines
Articles should be around 500-1500 words depending on subject and supplied in .txt or .doc format. Please use the auto submission areas where available. Please contact me to discuss your submissions before making any by email to areas that don't have automated options.

Pictures to go with articles should be 72dpi JPEG (mid compression) saved at 500 pixels max length. 5 to 8 pics is a good number to include.
