Tunnel Hikers

Tunnel Hikers by Steve_Atkins

15 minute exposure of hikers walking through a tunnel at the Grand Canyon du Verdon in Provence, France.

I'm really chuffed, I've just found out this photo has been awarded a merit for the Fujifilm Distinctions Awards 2007 and shortlisted for the final round of judging.

It's miserable, damp weather outside today; but this really lifted me out of my S.A.D.

Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I am bassed in Cornwall, and photograph the Landscapes and Wildlife of South England and Wales (nothing against the North, I just don’t live there).

Welcome to my Portfolio, I started photography in 2001 when I purchased a FinePix 4900Z (great camera). I had previously engaged in some some basic B&W photogaphy, shooting and printing, utilising a friends Kiev Rangefinder or a Minolta (the 7000 I think). The major...

Great shot. It deserves a click for the 15 minute exposure alone. You could have made tea in that time!!!
