Formby PointUnderexposed by a stop or so, probably as a result of shooting on a program mode with auto exposure.
Not hugely keen on the messy path in front of us, had it been virgin snow then it would have had more impact. Sky is interesting, but the hedge between the bridge and the sky is acting as a good barrier to the best part of the shot.

perched bluetit

perched bluetitInstead of centralising your subject try to compose the shot with it a little to the side of the frame. This helps the viewers eye settle on the frame a lot easier than a centrally placed subject.
Here I'd crop a bit behind the bluetit and a bit below to give a balanced composition.
