A 10 second, f22 67mm with ND filter exposure at Clevedon Last week end, very windy and rough i was worried about getting the camera wet but managed a few exposures before I lost my bottle.

Excellent perspective and composition but I would have preferred a slightly faster shutter speed so you got some definition in the water.

This was a bit of an experiment, I did try to bracket the exposure 10, 6 and 4, unfortunately the 6 is very much like the 10 and the 4 showed the most promise but I had to cover the camera part way through because a wave caught me off guard. There was one one person there who appeared to be far more of a pro and local to the area who took more chances, he said that there was an article on Clevedon coming out in Outdoor photography. I think i might invest in some a weather cover or similar. Thanks for the comments.

A great quality to this image. Plenty of drama and action. The tones are spot on.

Timing is everything on these sorts of shots. I'd also experiment with 1/4 second exposures and 1 minute exposures. B&W is perfect here, as the tones cover a wide range and the comp looks good.
