Went to see some birds of prey, wanted some in flight, I did get some but for me the ropes on the legs spoil it I know they have to be there but don't do anything for me. so here it is ropes and all.

Birds in flight this week not all in captive some out in the big wild world which I prefer.

This is a brilliant photograph. I don't think the Jesses spoil this at all. These are trained, captive birds and that's what they wear.

A great shot and very sharp Understand your feelings but sometime you just have to do it because you like birds I also like to have them free

Guess you just have to accept the ties on the legs, John, but having said that, what a cracking shot, the detail immaculate for an in-flight shot.

Great image. I agree it's a pity about the jesses. There are some sites where big raptors are flown without them.
