Very pretty pair of Roses Bill but I think the strong pink of the bg overtakes the delicateness of the flowers.
Removing objects from their original bg is a difficult task & I think you have left behind some remnants.Try using a piece of plain card or even a good old piece of black velvet behind your subject at the time of taking the image,you could use a couple of clothes pegs to hold it in place or if you use card,cut a slit in it & drop it over the stems,that way you avoid any messy or unwanted bg's & you can choose the colour of the card to suit.
